XOVIS - Sensor Configuration

In your XOVIS Sensor Web Interface, configure your sensor. Then you can add it to your Moviik queue management system.

For documentation on how to add a sensor in Moviik, and for configuring sensors on firmware versions earlier than FW 5, please click here.

Below is an example with steps to perform this action with XOVIS FW 5:

Settings      >      Single/Multisensor Settings       >      Data Push
  • Add Connection
Server URL:      (e.g: https://[company_name].cloud.moviik.com/api/xovis/count/[sensor serial number with colons removed])
Port:            443

SSL/TLS enable      YES

Authentication mode:      NONE

Adcvanced Settings      No changes made

  • Add new agent (1)
Select Events (2):
XOVIS Web Interface
  1. Enter a name for this agent (default is New Event Agent)
  2. Select the Connection created in the previous step
  3. Define the Interval length
  4. Save

Add Agent
  • Click on the Toggle switch to activate:

NEXT, click on Scene Configuration (1)    >      then click on Draw Line (2):

1. Draw the line in the desired location (direction can be inverted afterwards if needed)
2. Click Save

3. Define a name for the Line
4. Select Legacy count in/out  from the dropdown box
5. Click Save

6. Click on the Line
7. Click on Add logic

  • Configure accordingly, and click on Save:

  • Now, you may test the sensor in your Moviik branch, it may be necessary to reboot the sensor (best practice), and click the Toggle switch under the Branch Settings Crowd Control Section off and back on to refresh:
